Through my teaching work with the University of British Columbia (UBC), I am excited to offer you to professional development and wellness opportunities, including the following:

Burnout Prevention: Understanding Vicarious Trauma and Compassion Fatigue – a 4 week online course being offered Jul. 18 – Aug. 14 or Oct. 24 – Nov. 20, 2017.

Journaling for Self-Care and Wellness – a 4 week online course being offered Oct. 17 – Nov. 13, 2017.

The Resilience Advantage Workshop

The Resilience Advantage Workshop is a one-day session designed to teach leaders, managers and staff the essentials necessary for developing personal resilience. Participants will learn the five key characteristics of resilient individuals, receive feedback on their own strengths and areas for development, practice applying each characteristic in highly engaging individual and group activities, and build an action plan for increasing resiliency. Engagement Essentials in the Workplace

Burnout to Balance in the Workplace

This one-day workshop is designed to teach busy professionals how to prevent burnout and reduce stress in order to experience higher engagement and enjoyment at work, while also feeling more energized and healthy. Burnout is not just an individual problem. The costs of burnout and occupational stress are high in organizations in terms of lost productivity, absenteeism, employee turnover and conflict in the workplace.

This one-day workshop is designed for care for the caregivers.
